Peer group pressure? Because they would look like an idiot, like they were condoning her behaviour?<br /><br />I think too we are so ruled these days by multinational corporations. It might be BP's job to not give a shit. Easier then for the guy behind the counter to take the same stand. Even easier then for the customers to do the same.<br /><br />We don't get out of the playground anywhere near as much as we would like to think we do. We are all so much affected by what everyone else is doing, increasingly scared and fearful of stepping out of line. I won't pat you on the back, then, because you're right - everyone else should have been doing that too.
